Day of the Good Samaritan
Every year, the 13th of March is declared “National Good Samaritan’s Day”. It is a day to show generosity and sacrifice, and also to assist other people.
A person who dedicates their time and energy to assist others is known as an “good neighbor.” He or she may provide clothing, food, or other support for someone who is in need. A good Samaritan is someone who has the heart of gold and a desire to do good.
The Good Samaritan’s Tale is found in the Bible. The Bible tells of a good Samaritan that helped a traveler who was injured by bandits.
For a good example of the benefits of doing good deeds, the Good Samaritan story from the Gospel of Luke is a good illustration. This story relates the robbery that took place against an innocent Jewish traveler. The good Samaritan assisted the man injured by paying his medical bills as well as providing wound care.
Valentine’s Day
On this day the people of Irish heritage celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the United States, Canada and other countries. It’s not a holiday for the government, and so many businesses will be open the same way on this day. A lot of people go to parades, dress in green for the celebration and sip Irish beer.
Saint Patrick is a historical figure who, introduced Christianity to Ireland. He was born in Britain towards the end of the 4th century. At the time, Ireland was primarily a pagan land. He was only a teen when he was kidnapped , and taken to Ireland. After being held captive for a long time after which he was released and converted to the religion.
He is adored for his position as the patron saint of Ireland, Nigeria and the customer martyr of engineers. The shamrock is a symbol of the Holy Trinity.
The Day of the Dentist
Every year, the date of National Dentist’s Day (March 6) is observed. Every year an event that is dedicated to celebrating dentists and their accomplishments is established.

International Day of Women
On the 8th of March, which is International Women’s Day, women celebrate and promote awareness of their rights. It encourages women to advocate for equality. The day is celebrated on March 8 and honors the contributions made by women.
American businesses and schools observe International Women’s Day. Furthermore, March is recognized as National Women’s History Month.
In many countries, women have long experienced discrimination, however the fight for gender equality has a much longer history. According to the World Economic Forum, gender equality could be achieved worldwide in 2133. Women today are involved in both business and politics. Women continue to fight for equality in pay and access to contraception.
The national dialogue on issues affecting women has been initiated in part by discussions on sexual harassment and equal wages. Women are becoming more involved at home as well as abroad. However, Russia is not without its challenges.

Be aware that daylight saving time varies based on the location where you live. DST in the US starts on the 2nd Sunday of of March. It is then back to normal time on Sundays 1 and 2.
The 47 states covered by DST observer are scattered throughout the entire country. Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico are just a few exempted. Three of Australia’s most populous regions are not participating.
A little bit of sunlight in the evenings is thought to decrease the risk of traffic accidents. It also encourages workers to be more active. These benefits are especially relevant in remote areas far away from where the Equator is.
