The Gospel of Luke’s Good Samaritan Story is a good example of what it means to be a good person. The story tells about the time robbers struck an Israeli traveler. The good Samaritan helped the wounded man’s rescue by offering the money for his medical treatment and also assist in wound treatment.
Valentine’s Day
On this day, people from Irish heritage are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the United States, Canada and other countries. Since it is not a government holiday and most businesses are operating as usual on the day. Many people participate in parades and drink Irish beer.
Saint Patrick, an historical person, introduced Christianity to Ireland. Saint Patrick was born in Britain near the end of fourth century. At the time, Ireland was primarily a pagan land. Every year, the 6th of March is National Dentist’s Day. Every year, a day is planned to commemorate dentists and their accomplishments.
