Day of the Good Samaritan
The 13th of March is recognized as “National Good Samaritan’s day” every year. It is a day when we remember the acts of kindness and sacrifice and also the importance of helping others.
One who does more than the minimum amount to assist people in need is known as a “good Samaritan”. They can provide clothing, food, or other assistance to someone in need. A good Samaritan is driven to do good and an unwavering heart.
The Bible includes the Good Samaritan’s Tale. In the Bible, there is an account of a good Samaritan helping a traveler injured by a bandit.
The Good Samaritan tale from the Gospel of Luke serves as an illustration of the benefits of doing good deeds. The story describes how robbers assaulted and killed an innocent Jewish traveler. The generous Samaritan offered to aid the injured man by paying for his medical treatment and helping with wound care.
Valentine’s Day
The Irish celebrate St. Patrick’s Day across the United States, Canada, Australia, and many other countries. Businesses are generally open during this holiday, just like every other day. People attend parades, wear green to the feast and drink Irish beer.
Saint Patrick, an historical person, introduced Christianity to Ireland. Saint Patrick was born in Britain at the close of the fourth century. Ireland was a predominantly pagan country at that time. When he was just a teenager, he was taken hostage and brought to Ireland. After being held for many years, he finally was released and baptized into the Catholic faith.
He is known as the patron saint of Ireland and Nigeria and also as the victim of engineers. The shamrock symbolises of the Holy Trinity.
The Day of the Dentist
Every year, the 6th of March is National Dentist’s Day. Every year the day is designated to honor dentists and their achievements.
Dental practitioners should take advantage of this opportunity to show their abilities, provide an opportunity to get a free dental exam, and educate people about the importance of dental health. Take good treatment of your teeth all through the year. You can prevent unpleasant problems by cleaning and checking your teeth.
A great way to commemorate National Dentist’s Day, is to express your appreciation for your dentist.
You can thank your dentist by brushing and flossing twice daily for two minutes each time.
International Day of Women
International Women’s Day falls on March 8, and women are encouraged to celebrate and fight for their rights. It also encourages women to speak up in support of equality. It is observed each on March 8 to commemorate the contribution of women.
International Women’s Day is observed in American businesses as well as schools. March is also designated National Women’s History Month.
Women have been subject to discrimination for many years in many nations. However, equality between genders has been around for a longer time. According to the World Economic Forum, gender equality is likely to be achieved globally in 2133. Women today are active in business, politics and politics and continue to fight for equality in pay.
The dialogue that is taking place across the country on issues affecting women has been initiated partly by discussions about gender-based harassment and equal pay. Women are now more involved in their communities and in other countries. However, there are also concerns regarding the rights of women in Russia.
